
Dr Aleksandra Borek
Senior Researcher in the Psychology Institute and CARE-BEH team at SWPS University.
A social scientist specialising in behavioural medicine, implementation science, and qualitative methods. Her research focuses on the identification of factors influencing health behaviours, behaviour change processes, and developing and implementing behaviour change interventions.
Principal Investigator of the research programme on prudent antibiotic use and interventions to optimise antibiotic prescribing/use in Polish primary care, funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) as part of the “Polish Returns 2023” programme.
Prior to her current role, she worked as a researcher at the University of Exeter and the University of Oxford in the UK on multi-disciplinary projects on health-promoting behaviour change interventions and optimising antibiotic prescribing.

Dr Iga Palacz-Poborczyk
Researcher in the Psychology Institute and CARE-BEH team at SWPS University.
She conducts applied research on the implementation, contextualization, and evaluation of complex health interventions. She is particularly interested in interventions that combine digital elements with individualized psychological support. She has worked as a researcher on scientific projects funded by the Foundation for Polish Science and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. She is committed to promoting scientific knowledge to the general public and among healthcare practitioners. She is also the author of scientific publications, conference presentations, and an academic lecturer in the field of health psychology.

Julia Kuźmińska, MA
Psychologist in the Psychology Institute and Research Assistant in the CARE-BEH team at SWPS University.
She is in the certification process at the Krakow Psychodynamic Center. Her scientific interests focus on health psychology, psychosomatic processes and behavioral aspects of antimicrobial resistance.

Prof. Aleksandra Luszczynska
Professor of Psychology at SWPS University. Leader of the CARE-BEH team.
She specializes in the processes of changing health behaviors and psychosocial resources facilitating recovery in the context of stress and illness. She is the co-editor-in-chief of Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being. Her research has been continuously supported by international research grants (e.g. Horizon 2020, 7thFramework Program, Joint Programming Initiative – Healthy Diet for Healthy Life).
